The Mojang Team officially announced the dates of the first Minecraft Convention (Minecon) which will be on November 18-19.
Because that is a Friday-Saturday event, Notch polled fans of the game and over 50,000 people cast their votes, and the results are in, MineCon is happening a week later than planned.The event will mark Minecraft's first full release and there will be a variety of contests including costumes and speed building.
Notch told PC Gamer "I'm really looking forward to getting up on stage and pressing the button to upload the final build."
The tickets cost 99$ (Without Food and Hotel) And the event Will take place at Mandalay Bay Hotel & Casino (Pictures Below)

Wow That looks nice :) but kinda ironic how people at minecon can't play the final build right away but have to wait till they get back to play it.... makes me kinda glad i'm not coing to minecon and since when was i a zombie :P
