The feeling of minecraft

When I first started playing minecraft, I had the best experiences ever. I always wanted a game like this, where I could build my own house and have my own life.

Every new discovery was unique. Even seeing a chicken was extraordinary. Everything was random, but it was the same as if it was scripted to the littlest detail. Exploring a dungeon, building a tower on the top of a huge mountain, or even colecting resources was great to do!
But after playing for a long time, you realize you already know everything in the game and how it is boring to gather resources everytime you want to do something. Every pig is exactly the same and so do the other mobs. That's when you start realizing you are bored of minecraft. I do have been bored of minecraft. But there was some things that helped me getting the feeling of minecraft back:

  • Starting a new world / Destroying previous world
  • Get some plans for future creations
  • Think big: This will make you be occupied for longer
  • Delete the world everytime you die
  • Play on the hardest difficulty
  • Try SMP if you didn't before
  • If none of those worked, just take a week off minecraft.
You'll see that in no time you won't even look at a chicken the same way twice.

This is me, trying to help some of you get the feeling of minecraft back,
